Through the eyes of a child

The other day Jenessa brought home this paper from school. They were given the assignment to draw a picture of themselves and to write a little something describing themselves. This is what Jenessa thinks about herself.

I got a good laugh out of it. I thought it was funny all of the different body parts that she thought to describe. I think my favorite part was about her short neck. Makes you wonder where and when they start to get certain complexes about themselves.

Jenessa's First House

Who would have thought that Jenessa would be able to get her first house at 7 years old?! Last week some friends gave Jenessa a barbie house that they had outgrown. She was so excited to get her room ready for the new addition. She cleaned, moved things to make room, and vacuumed. The next day Jenessa had a lot of fun going through mom's old barbie stuff and arranging the house. I am sure this house is going to get a lot of use with all of the girls in this household.

Birthday Bowling Time

Jenessa turned 7 last week. Crazy, crazy! They are all growing up so fast. Where is the time going? We went to Boondocks and spent some time there as a family. Later on that afternoon we also went bowling with some friends.
