My dad caught some a wild kitten in his garden and we decided that we would take it off of his hands to help solve our pet problem for now. Ryan and I decided that we would try it out and see how his allergies do with having the cat around. The kids were so excited when it came to our house. 24 hours later my Dad caught a second kitten and so we (mostly me) decided that the kittens would have more fun being together.
The kids are enjoying having the kittens around. However, Ryan's allergies are not. We have had the kittens in the house since we got them but have kept them in the bathroom and the laundry room for the most part with an outing to explore the rest of the house a tiny bit a day. This past Saturday I had Ryan help me clean out the bathroom that the cats have been "living" in. He had a pretty severe allergic reaction to them and a pretty good scare. His throat closed up, his heart started racing (took about an hour to slow back down), eyes red & puffy and watering, sneezing and he got red splotches all over his face. It was pretty scary. I spent most of the day cleaning the house trying to get all evidence of the cats to disappear. We are now trying to have them live in the garage and in the yard. We still haven't named the kittens due to lack of good choices and we weren't sure how long they would stick around once they were free to roam outside. We have a little girl and a little boy. Jenessa wants to name them Snowball and Dirty Snowball because one is mostly all white and the other one is more beige (Siamese looking).

They are so cute! That is scary about the allergic reaction.
OH my gosh, how scary for poor ryan! I like the names, very cute.
